OVER 10,000 ALUMNI, STUDENTS AND FRIENDS of UMass Amherst participated in Homecoming festivities in October. Homecoming highlights included a pep rally/bonfire, MinuteFan Park, a young alumni social in the Blue Wall and the traditional Homecoming football game. The Minutemen beat Hofstra 27 to 22. Homecoming Weekend was sponsored by the alumni association and co-sponsored by UMass Amherst Catering Services, Liberty Mutual and Marsh Affinity Group.
