OUTSTANDING IN THEIR FIELD: Alison Snow ’82G (far right) leads graduate researchers at Ohio State in the study of transgene escape—what happens when genetically engineered traits transfer from food crops to closely related weeds. Snow was named one of the top 50 scientists of 2002 by Scientific American and is president of the Botanical Society of America.
