Annie Varnot

Annie Varnot has earned a BS in studio art from Skidmore College and a MFA in painting from The University of Massachusetts. She has exhibited work at Smack Mellon and Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, NY, and also at the Islip Museum’s Carriage House in East Islip, NY. Most recently, she has exhibited sculptures at the Front Room in Brooklyn, NY. She has served as a visiting fellow at La Napoule Art Foundation in France, and her work has received such awards as an Islip Museum Project Grant from the Islip Museum and a Blanche E. Colman Award from Mellon Private Asset Management. Her drawings may be viewed at Pierogi 2000 in Brooklyn, NY, Artek in NYC, and the Drawing Project Flat Files at Bernard Toale Gallery in Boston, MA. She is also a selected member of The Drawing Center Slide Registry. She lives in New York City.
